Welcome to the "New Look" Illinois Central Net web site. As I added things over the years the site became more cluttered and difficult to navigate. Aside from navigation, a lot of the stuff was posted almost twenty years ago and technology has changed a lot since then.
I have taken all the external links and put them on the navigation bar across the top of the page, just below the header, along with a "Home" button to return to the front page of the site and a "Contact Us" button where you can send me an e-mail.
All of the pages on Illinois-Central.Net can be reached by using the "Consist" found on the right. Initially, these are the same pages as before. I plan on updating these pages, especially the real old ones, over time.
In the mean time, I hope you enjoy Illinois-Central.Net. If you have any photos, memorobilia or other items to contribute, just let me know and I'll be happy to add them to the site.
I'm always happy to receive your e-mails. I don't have any Illinois Central employment records, aside from what I might have posted. You may be able to get that information from the Railroad Retirement Board (link above). I'm also not an expert on railroad history, so while any questions are welcome, I can't guarantee that I have answers.
